Andrey Komarov Signed an Agreement with Worldskills Russia in the Framework of the National Project for Increasing Labor Efficiency and Support of Employment

Rimera Group and Worldskills Russia signed a cooperation agreement for implementation of the national project Increasing Labor Efficiency and Support of Employment at the first meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Efficiency and Productivity Cup chaired by First Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Government Andrey Belousov. The main goal is to boost labor efficiency by organizing a movement of efficiency experts from among employees of Rimera Group and skill upgrade using the Worldskills infrastructure.

The agreement supports the arrangement of corporate efficiency centers (Hi-tech Boiling Points) and Proactive Training Centers, vocational training, re-training and skill upgrade for the staff according to Worldskill standards in one or several areas of expertise, and organization and participation in the Efficiency and Productivity Cup.

"We’ve gained profound expertise in production system development and increasing efficiency of operations in challenging business, in which the key labor efficiency growth drivers are the creation of own production system based on long-term experience and best world practices, the highest level of corporate culture, continuous improvement of the working environment, staff’s involvement in the professional skills movement of WorldSkills, integration of lean management into the staff training process using company colleges and gaining leadership in this area. We are successfully passing on this experience at oilfield service companies and are ready to further improve our work under the auspices of the Russian Government using the methods and practices proposed for integration by WorldSkills Russia," said Rimera JSC Shareholder and Member of the Board of Directors Andrey Komarov.

Rimera Group’s Alnas petroleum engineering plant (Almetyevsk, Tatarstan) will be a pilot platform for the agreement. Company has been taking part in the national project for Increasing Labor Efficiency and Support of Employment since 2020. The plant as a supplier of complex engineering solutions for the oil and gas industry - electric submersible pump (ESP) units, high-voltage electric submersible motors, knock-out drums and seal sections is involved in extensive research work and rationalization activities and is trying to make oil production as efficient as never before. The economic benefit of efficiency improvement solutions has been 130 million rubles for the past three years.

Moreover, Alnas plant began participating in WorldSkills Hi-Tech contests of cross-industry non-professional occupations of hi-tech sectors in 2017. Since then, Alnas employees won nine medals in such competences as mechatronics, CAD engineering, industrial mechanics and installation, CNC lathe machine operations and on-the-job teamwork.

Since 2013, Rimera’s Alnas has been implementing a College of The Future of Tatarstan educational project as part of corporate programme The Future of METAllurgy, where students are educated in a continuous improvement environment from the very start. Being a dual education system, the programme helps train experts with three or four professions and soft- and hard skills and all ready to work at the company’s production facilities.

At the meeting, Member of the Rimera Board of Directors Andrey Komarov was included on the Organizing Committee of the Efficiency and Productivity Cup that supports the annual championship, steers the work and cooperation of federal, regional and municipal executive authorities and organizations involved in preparing for and holding the Cup, and solves other tasks.
