April 5, Rimera Group CEO Stanislav Velikiy and Jizzakh Petroleum CEO Shokir Fayzullayev signed a contract for the supply of oil production equipment.
The ceremonial event took place at the International Industrial Trade Fair ‘Innoprom. Big Industrial Week’ in Tashkent. The event was attended by Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and Deputy Prime Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov.
According to the contract, Rimera will supply 35 complete electric submersible pumps (ESP) units made by Alnas plant to its Uzbek partner. The supply will be facilitated by the financial aid instrument of the Russian Export Center. Size-five corrosion-proof high-pressure equipment will be used at Jizzakh Petroleum field for oil production from low- and medium-flow rate wells.
"Uzbekistan is one of the key foreign trade partners of Rimera Group, that is why it is crucially important for us to partner with such a prominent company as Jizzakh Petroleum. This contract will help consolidate the Russian - Uzbekistan relations and expand cooperation. I am sure that the supply of Alnas oil production equipment to Jizzakh Petroleum will facilitate efficient implementation of new large-scale projects of the company aimed at solving strategic energy tasks of Uzbekistan," said Rimera Group CEO Stanislav Velikiy.
