The new production system kicked off today during an opening ceremony welcoming a new mechanical shop data center. The system is a part of a 2013-2016 republic-wide program to achieve 60% greater labor productivity implemented by Alnas together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Alnas Executive Director Sergey Sachenko used the data center for a new-format working meeting with staff. “From today onward our sessions will move from offices to out here on the production floor. This is very important in view of our target to increase sales by 43%, as it allows to accelerate decision making and improve management efficiency across all business processes. Already this April we plan to reach a production rate of 400 pumps per month, which has not been done in the last 5 years,” Sergey Sachenko said.

Within the project's framework we shall develop activities to be implemented by the people themselves. This year we plan to implement 900 kaizen ideas with combined economic effect of over RUR 50 million.

In addition to that, as part of the project we shall reorganize all workplaces based on 5C principle, train the workers to use the tools and methods of lean production, introduce TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and standardize our operations. We expect this to greatly increase labor productivity/safety and reduce production time.
