Officials from the Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science have conducted a comprehensive audit of the College of the Future Tatarstan, the training center operating at the Almetyevsk-based Alnas manufacturing company, for compliance with national educational standards.

Margarita Maksimova, chair of the Almetyevsk Professional College certification board, visited the College of the Future Tatarstan, which is built on the premises of the Rimera-controlled Alnas plant. She arrived in the company of Almetyevsk Professional College Headmaster Ivan Ryabov and College of the Future Tatarstan project manager Sergey Denisov. Their visit aimed at verifying the compliance of the College’s classrooms and equipment with national standards for primary and secondary vocational training. 
The delegation toured the College’s lecture rooms, laboratories and conference hall, which are fitted with modern furniture and equipment.
“The College’s rooms and equipment form a basis created specially for training of highly skilled mechanical engineering professionals,” Maksimova said. “The classrooms of the training center are in compliance with every educational standard for training of workforce which the Tatarstan industrial sector so badly needs today.”
The College of the Future Tatarstan project kicked off in 2012 on the premises of Almetyevsk Professional College. In the December of that year, the innovative educational project was endorsed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. On February 14, the government of Tatarstan and ChelPipe signed an agreement to cooperate on the project.
The College has enrolled a total of 52 students into its metalworking machine operation, and electrical equipment repair and service programs. Starting with the January of 2013, top students have received personal scholarships from Alnas and Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant.
The head of the certification board spoke in praise of the College’s facilities and infrastructure, and noted compliance of the training center’s rooms with the national standards.
