The Izhneftemash manufacturing company, a member of Rimera Group, has presented certificates to a group of Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University students who completed a training program at the Petroleum Engineering Corporate Training Center.
First Class of Graduates at Rimera’s Engineer Training Center in Izhevsk
Starting in February, seventeen students at the Modern Technology and Road Vehicles faculty took a course in the Creo Parametric 3D computer-assisted design system. The classes took place inside a specially equipped computer room at the Izhneftemash design and engineering center.
Udmurtia President Aleksandr Volkov visited the Corporate Petroleum Engineering Training Center on one of its first opening days. “This joint initiative by Izhneftemash and ISTU will help raise the standard of beginner training,” Volkov said. Izhneftemash is currently the only organization in Udmurtia to design and successfully implement a training program that combines Creo Parametric theory with hands-on experience in industrial 3D design.
The Petroleum Engineering Corporate Training Center in Izhevsk is the third educational project implemented by ChelPipe in the geographical areas where its companies operate. The first class of students at the White Metallurgy College, located on the premises of Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant, are scheduled to graduate in 2014. A similar project has been launched on the premises of the Alnas plant in Almetyevsk, Tatarstan as a partnership between ChelPipe and the Tatarstan government aimed at training highly skilled professionals. Two classes of students totaling 52 are undergoing training in metalworking machine operation, and electrical equipment repair and service.
