Machine-building giant Victor Taichung Machinery Works Co., Ltd (Taiwan) will provide Alnas with two milling and two lathing centers. The Taiwanese vendor will ship its latest machines, equipped with CNC systems and designed to make complex geometry parts. The new units will help to reduce lead time and increase performance by 10%. According to the contract, the new equipment will be delivered to Alnas in Q3 of 2014.
“We need new machines as we receive more and more orders from the oil companies,” comments Sergey Sachenko, Alnas Executive Director. “This is our first project targeting the increase in output in 2014, but also not the only one. In Q2 we plan to begin the installation of the second stage of Laempe movable parts casting plant and procure a new horizontal test bench for acceptance testing of pump sections to accommodate our clients' product quality requirements.”
Rimera Group's Almetyevsk asset will get a total of RUR 2.5 billion of investments. The modernization of plant, something not done since late 80s, will be completed in 2016. Once that is done, Rimera's key business unit should reach the installed production capacity of 7,500 ESPs a year.
