Pilot tests of the INM-3-ChR control stations with operating current up to 400A have been run at the oil wells of Udmurtneft’s Kotovsky field and on Belkamneft’s Vyatka area of Arlansky oilfield since July 2016. The first test results are to be announced in mid-October.

The INM-3-ChR electric centrifugal pump control stations equipped with a frequency converter are designed to adjust the motor shaft speed, optimize the operation and protect against failures of submersible motors inside the well. The INM-3-ChR stations offer a number of technical features, namely frequency converters to ensure a soft start of motors, high-duty single-block design, built-in output filter and new software.

“Our next objective in the fields, after the pilot testing of the control stations is over, will be to expand the model range of this product. In particular, it is planned to develop modifications of the control stations for borehole sucker rod pump units, valve motors, as well as a special tropical version of stations”, said Izhneftemash plant CEO Sergei Berezin.

It should be reminded that Rimera Group’s Izhevsk plant intends to manufacture up to 1 000 control stations and telemetry systems for electric centrifugal pump control stations this year. The new equipment has been certified in accordance with the technical regulations of the Customs Union. This will enable its supplies not only within the boundaries of Russia, but to the CIS countries as well.
