The plant has started filling the gas giant's order for pipe spools to be used in the Pisarevka compressor station in Voronezh Region. It is one of the facilities to serve the western route of the South Corridor system of gas pipelines.
The pipe spools for this project are assembled from pressed short-radius bends 1,020 mm in diameter as well as 420 mm tees and branch pipes drawn on a horn-shaped mandrel. Per customer preferences, the pipe spools are manufactured using new welding materials for improved quality of welds. Pipelines with such spools are designed for use in areas with high seismic activity and wetlands.
Rimera Group and the pipe division of ChTPZ are traditional suppliers for Gazprom's strategic projects. Last year, SOT supplied products for the Syninskaya and Novoprivodninskaya compressor stations, while the Vysota 239 shop of Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Mill (ChTPZ) manufactured a batch of large-diameter pipes with triple-ply outer and inner insulation for the South Corridor project.
