Rimera Group's new seal section GTМА5LDD OU has successfully passed field tests as part of compression pump system 0615. The new seal section has completed a 265 day operating run at Slavneft-Megionneftegaz oilfield and continues to operate at the client's wellsite.
The product is able to withstand five times greater axial load compared to the current standard seal sections: 35 kN (3,500 kg-f) vs. 7 kN (700 kg-f). The advance was achieved by using a thrust plate with self-aligning segments and polymeric coating in the thrust bearing assembly.
«The modern oil industry is characterized by often abnormal oilfield conditions. Our new hardware was developed in response to the new, more rigid oilfield equipment requirements. Seven months into the year, Alnas' innovation sales reached a six-year record level. From a year earlier, new equipment sales tripled, reaching one quarter of total sales volume,» comments Sergey Sachenko, Alnas Executive Director.
Currently the key users of Alnas equipment are such leading Russian and international oil companies as Rosneft, LUKOIL, Gazprom Neft, and Belorusneft.
