The pilot tests were conducted at the Talovoye and Sovetskoye fields of Tomskneft. The 45 kW high-voltage submersible electric motors (Size 117 mm) and 32 kW motors (Size 117 mm) have operated in normal operation mode, all the while maintaining the declared technical and energy parameters. The customer's representatives signed a certificate of successful completion of pilot testing and recommended launching serial production of the new product.
The new high-voltage submersible pumps made by Alnas offer reliability and operational characteristics as good as those of existing serially produced pumps of the plant while surpassing them in terms of power consumption.
“We have received a favorable opinion on successful completion of monitored tests of ten pilot specimens of this equipment at the fields of Rosneft-Purneftegaz. The equipment showed stable operation in all wells, with confirmed total energy savings of 260,000 kW. A 17% reduction in power consumption was recorded during pilot tests of the new electric motors at the Tomskneft fields. In light of the favorable outcome and good feedback from customers, we have launched serial production of this equipment,” says Rimera Group R&D Center Director Sergei Sibiriov.
