This is the result of a competitive bidding process arranged by Slavneft Oil and Gas Company OJSC, which ended this week.
The range of equipment to be manufactured and supplied by Alnas plant includes Dimension 5 and 5A electric centrifugal pumps that have a high market demand. The oil company will also be taking delivery of electric motors for pumps and other components. The complete itemized list of the shipment exceeds 20 items.
"This shipment of Alnas equipment to Slavneft is remarkable in that we will be making the first shipment of our proprietary ALSU electric centrifugal pump control stations to this oil company after a long intermission", Rimera Group Commercial Director Konstantin Samsonov thus comments on the contract, adding: "I am certain that this shipment can usher in a new phase of cooperation with Slavneft in light of the company's demand for oil field downhole equipment in the first half of 2014".
This year's interim results show that Alnas shipments to Slavneft are up 50% from the comparable period of 2012.
