Two innovative pump systems with upgraded centrifugal stages made by the Almetyevsk-based, Rimera Group-controlled manufacturing company Alnas, have successfully reached acceptance level while working inside oil wells operated by a Lukoil business unit.

Modifications made to the Almetyevsk-made pump stage flow sections reduced by half the mounting height of pumps rated for more than 250 cubic meters per day. The use of new 5A-250M1 pump stages with a cylindrical blade section increased availability, raised energy efficiency by more than ten percent and reduced running costs without compromising pressure.
“The successful field tests at the Uraineftegaz oil company were one of the first steps toward comprehensive change in the entire oil equipment production process at Alnas,” said Konstantin Samsonov, head of O&G Equipment Sales and Service at Rimera Group. “We have been able to prove that compact is not a synonym for low capacity when it comes to pumping equipment, but even drives pump system reliability.”
The 2219 pump system has reached the acceptance level of 270 days and continues to run at Lukoil’s Uraineftegaz. Similar pump systems with varying dismantling length are undergoing field tests in oil fields of Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz.
