MSA Plant, part of Rimera Group, has secured a foothold in the Mexican market by delivering a shipment of isolation valves to CUMEX.
Rimera's Czech Plant Expands to New Markets
This past February, MSA Plant sent a batch of 915 mm Class 600 ball valves to CUMEX (Mexican division of the Spanish group Cuñado). The valves will be used in construction of the Gasoducto Sásabe – Guaymas gas pipeline to connect northwestern Mexico (El Sasabe) and the North American coast of the Gulf of California (Guaymas).
“This order proves that MSA products are in demand in the Latin American market. We plan to continue collaborating with CUMEX on deliveries of valves for the Gasoducto Sásabe – Guaymas gas pipeline and also intend to get involved in other Mexican energy projects,” says MSA Management Board Chairman and Rimera Group Executive Director Vladimir Kononov.
Cooperation with Mexican companies is one of MSA's priority business streams for 2015. In the first half of this year, the plant will also be delivering a shipment of ball valves to the multinational company Emerson Process Management (the end client is the Mexican company PEMEX) to be used in construction of the Los Ramones South gas pipeline.
