The MSA manufacturing company, a member of Rimera Group, has finished making pipeline valves under a contract with Spain’s Cuñado. The end user of the valves, intended for the DG05 project, is the French company Total S.A.
Rimera’s Czech Plant, MSA, Successfully Delivers Valves to France’s Total S.A.
The shipment with a total worth of almost € 500,000 comprises more than 300 ANSI valve units: Class 150-1500 gate valves, swing check valves and globe valves with a diameter of 2 to 14 inches.
The design documents were produced by Spain’s Tecnicas Reunidas. Under the terms of the contract, the valves underwent multidirectional tests for material quality, component casting quality and maximum pressure, among others.
“The current equipment shipments to Total S.A. have been made possible thanks to our earlier successful deliveries, for instance, to such projects as UGO 11 or DS 5, where we delivered more than 2,000 pipeline valve units,” said MSA Executive Director Vladimir Kononov.
The DG05 project provides for modernization of an oil refinery in Le Havre, Upper Normandy, France.
