Alnas launched its casting plant modernization program meaning to increase manufacturing capacity and cut production costs back in 2012.
Phase Two of the movable part castings line will be added to the already functional German-made automated Laempe core-making line, commissioned in 2013. As the previous one, the new line will also use the Cold Box Amine technology, which will help to save costs, improve quality and achieve faster production rate.
«The first movable parts cast with the help of cores made on Laempe equipment have already been used to build stock-produced pumps. This helped to achieve greater efficiency which resulted in ESPs with fewer sections. At present we are trying to expand our range of cores,» comments Sergey Sachenko, Alnas Executive Director.
Currently the casting shop is being prepared for equipment to move in. The installation of Phase Two of Laempe casting plant line is scheduled for the 2nd quarter of 2014.
Rimera Group's Almetyevsk facility will receive a total of RUR 2.5 billion of investments. The modernization of the plant's production facilities, something not done since late 80s, is expected to be completed in 2015. When that is done Rimera's key business unit will reach the installed production capacity of 9,500 ESPs a year.
