Rimera's MSA To Deliver Over EUR 1M Worth of Supplies to Turkish Tüpraş in Two Years
The Czech MSA has won a new contract from Turkish petrochemical giant Tüpraş to supply 23 ball valves (metal-to-metal seating), diameter 2” – 12”, Class 300. The contract is worth a total of EUR 137,000. The delivery is planned for October 2013.
It is the second large order MSA is to complete for Tüpraş. As part of the first EUR 878,000 contract signed in autumn 2012, MSA is to supply 122 Class 150 – 300 ball valves with diameters ranging 4“ – 18“.
Under both contracts pipeline valves shall be supplied for Tupras Izmit Propan Tank Project, a part of Tüpraş' oil refining facility in the Turkish town of Izmit.
As one of the client's requirements, MSA makes metal seated ball valves to be used in operating fluids containing hard particles able to damage soft seated ball valves.
«The Turkish Tüpraş is a large client for us and we are happy to have yet another contract signed. We are certain that our high quality and timely supplies shall provide a solid foundation for lasting future cooperation,» says Vladimir Kononov, MSA Executive Director.
The Czech MSA has won the new contract at an Internet-auction coming in ahead of large competitors specialized in oil and natural gas processing innovations, such as Tyco, the USA's Cameron, Flowserve and Keystone, the Finland's Metso, etc.
