Rimera Strengthens Positions in the Middle East

This October, MSA, which is part of Rimera Group, has completed a shipment of a batch of pipeline valves to one of the largest oil and gas companies in the Middle East, Qatar Petroleum, which ranks third in the world in terms of proven oil and gas reserves.
The shipment delivered to the Qatar customer included seven 16-inch Class 150-300 check valves. The valves will be used in a project to build a 36-kilometer long pipeline system from the country's largest oil refinery in the city of Mesaieed in Qatar's southeast to the BSV-3 station. The pipeline will carry jet fuel.
"Even though pipeline valve shipments to the Middle Eastern market started quite recently, we at MSA view it as one of the most promising markets. It is where a large number of extensive petroleum industry infrastructure projects are concentrated. This shipment of pipeline valves to Qatar strengthens our positions on the Arabian Peninsula where we have another major client – Saudi Aramco, with which we have a rapidly growing partnership", says MSA Executive Director Vladimir Kononov.
Over the past three years, total shipments by the Czech plant of Rimera Group to Middle Eastern nations have exceeded the equivalent of 9.5 mln euros.
