The Czech manufacturing company MSA, a member of Rimera Group, has won a contract to deliver ball valves for Saudi Arabia’s Yanbu Aramco.

Under the terms of the deal with Trouvay & Cauvin Gulf, the Czech company will ship 20” Class 300 ball valves. The advanced pipe valves, to be produced on the Rimera site in Dolní Benešov, Czech Republic, will be shipped this September.
The ball valves to be purchased by Trouvay & Cauvin Gulf will be installed on an advanced oil refinery in Yanbu' al Bahr, Saudi Arabia, currently in the process of being built by YASREF (Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company). The company was established jointly by Saudi Aramco and China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation. The new refinery will provide an output of 400,000 barrels per day, using Arabian heavy oil as the source material. According to the project schedule, the refinery will be completed in June 2014, shipping its first products in Q4 2014.
Middle East is one of the most promising markets for MSA. Pipe valves made by the Czech manufacturer enjoy consistent demand in the region. MSA is expected to deliver equipment worth a total of €830,000 of for Saudi Aramco, Gasco and Qwaiwan under contracts with Trouvay & Cauvin Gulf.
