Sets of oil production equipment supplied by two ChelPipe divisions — the pipe-making division and the oilfield service division (Rimera Group) — will be sent for pilot testing at Ozenmunaigaz wellsites in Kazakhstan.

The equipment operated on the oilfields of Ozenmunaigaz, one of Kazakhstan's largest oil companies, will be pilot tested as part of White Well, a brand new oilfield service standard.
The two sets of equipment selected to match Ozenmunaigaz borehole conditions will include ESPs made by Rimera Group’s Almetyevsk-based Alnas and corrosion proof oil well tubing with 1-3% chrome content made by Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (member of ChelPipe Group).
“The White Well project embodies the new approach to oilfield service materialized by Rimera Group and ChelPipe Group's pipe-making division. Currently the same project is being implemented at a number of wellsites operated by Russian companies. In particular, one of the sets supplied to Tomskneft as part of White Well pilot testing project has already exceeded the mean time between failures for the borehole by at least 30%. We hope that the tests in Kazakhstan will once again prove the effectiveness of tailored oilfield service solutions if abnormal wells operators wish to cut costs and increase production. In the near future we plan to deliver similar sets of equipment to Mangistaumunaigaz,” says Sergey Brezitsky, Rimera Group General Director.
Kazakhstan is traditionally one of the largest ChelPipe Group's partners in the CIS. In 2013 both divisions increased their total volume of supply by more than 45%. Large-diameter pipes produced by “Height 239” workshop of Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant and reducers for sucker rod pump drives made by Izhneftemash make the bulk of the Group's shipments to Kazakhstan clients.
