In the first half of 2013, Rimera will ship more than 600 units of oil production equipment to Bashneft.
The customers are familiar with the 202ETsNA5 series cerium-boron iron pumps and engines. These pump systems have earned a good reputation while used in wells that have no complicating factors, such as solids, salt or aggressive media, and displayed a high degree of reliability.
Along with the mass-produced systems, Rimera’s Almetyevsk plant will ship to Bashneft one of its latest designs for pilot testing. The small-diameter pump manufactured by Alnas will be installed along with a bypass system for simultaneous use of several reservoirs through one well. The pilot tests will be accompanied by evaluation of each reservoir. The decision on introducing the type of equipment in question will be made once acceptance level is reached. Also, the Alnas pump system will be proposed for use in the increasingly popular dual completion process.
Besides the centrifugal pumps and engines, Rimera will ship 348 sucker rod pumps to Bashneft in the first half of 2013. The pumps are made by Rimera’s Izhneftemash company. The shipment will be delivered through TorgMet as the intermediary company.
“We are happy about the partnership growing stronger. On our side, we will make every effort to deliver the order in time and in a quality manner,” said Konstantin Samsonov, head of O&G equipment sales at Rimera.
Bashneft and ChelPipe are linked with a long-standing partnership, Rimera being the oilfield service division of the latter company. ChelPipe ships a wide range of products to the Bashkortostan-based oil company: OCTG pipes for well infrastructure development, seamless pipes for use in pipelines, large-diameter pipes for field infrastructure development, etc.
