Rimera Group's Czech-based MSA to ship ball valves to Argentina for the first time in history
Rimera to Supply Ball Valves to Argentina
Rimera Group's Czech-based MSA has just won a tender to supply GRUPO CUÑADO of Argentina. The group has become an official supplier of a 800 MW power plant construction project carried out near Tumbues in North-Eastern Argentina (Central Vuelta de Obligado (800 MW) Stag 1 x 209FA Multi Shaft Combined Cycle Power Plant «B»). The project worth USD 770m has been contracted to the transnational General Electric.
The Czech factory will supply 21 pcs. of 14“-18“ ball valves, Class 600, with total value of € 200,000. MSA valves will be provided in the new power plant's metering and reducing stations. The construction project is to be completed in 2015. The power plant will supply electricity for one of the world's largest vegetable oil factories.
The company considers the North American market as important as the South American one. On its client list are such large companies as Cameron, Flowserve, Forum Energy Technologies, ISV, AECOM, Samson, Pentair and Prism Flow.
