The range of equipment to be supplied includes electric centrifugal pumps with a thrust bearing shaft, submersible pumps, and piston rod protectors with a submersible ring of the orifice plate. The piston rod protectors have been custom-designed for LUKOIL with a high level of adaptation to technical specifications and the operating environment.
"This pilot testing contract takes to a new level Rimera's long-term partnership with Russia's largest privately owned oil company, LUKOIL. Incidentally, our equipment has been recently commissioned at LUKOIL Western Siberia well sites as part of the White Well project, where it continues to operate successfully", says Rimera Group Commercial Director Konstantin Samsonov.
Pilot testing will be carried out at well sites of local production companies Kogalymneftegaz and Povkhneftegaz. Alnas-manufactured equipment will operate for at least 180 days at LUKOIL wells. The outcome of pilot testing will become known in August 2014.
