Rustam Minnikhanov underscored the important role of Alnas plant, the mechanical engineering asset of ChelPipe Group, in the economic potential of the republic, expressing certainty that all of the company's plans will be brought to life.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the future prospects of Alnas plant, the Almetyevsk-based asset of Rimera Group that is part of ChelPipe Group's oil service division. Alexander Fiodorov reported on first-quarter performance of Alnas, underscoring that the plant managed to boost sales by 20% from the comparable period of 2013. At the same time, the Almetyevsk-based plant broke its own production record over the past three years, assembling 389 pumps and achieving product sales of 270 mln rubles.
The parties particularly focused on matters of collaboration between Rimera Group and companies operating in Tatarstan, discussing the results of collaboration with Tatneft, the number-one oil production company in the Republic of Tatarstan. In February 2014, Tatneft and Rimera signed a memorandum of collaboration that outlines the aspects of collaboration in engineering new equipment and expanding the lineup of products and services offered by Rimera plants to the petroleum industry of Tatarstan. In 2013, sales by the oil service division of ChelPipe to Tatneft rose 4%. This year the company is determined to boost this indicator further still by taking a more active part in the oil company's tenders.
Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his certainty that all of the company's plans will materialize. As he put it, the republic pins big hopes on the success of the Almetyevsk-based plant in light of its important role in the republic's economic potential.
Alexander Fiodorov underscored the importance of a constructive dialog with the republic's government, expressing his confidence in continued collaboration as part of social and economic projects: "The program to boost labor productivity, which Alnas is implementing jointly with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan as a pilot project spanning the years 2013 to 2016, is already bearing fruit. Alnas is showing consistent growth in labor productivity, with a 64% increase in the first quarter from the comparable period of 2013. Construction of the College of the Future Tatarstan is progressing in full swing. This project is being implemented jointly with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tatarstan as part of public-private partnership. Over 100 students of Almetyevsk Vocational College are currently studying at the training center. Such win-win projects open up prospects for continued expansion of collaboration between ChelPipe Group and the Republic of Tatarstan".
At the meeting, the Republic of Tatarstan was also represented by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov.
