On her business visit, Tatyana Vodopyanova was given a tour of production divisions of Rimera's plant in Almetyevsk where she examined the progress of projects undertaken as part of the plant's social, educational, and production programs. She visited the mechanical shop, the automated machining shop, and casting shop, examined the working conditions, and visited the Future Tatarstan College and the medical center located on plant grounds.
Ms. Vodopyanova also met with plant management: ChelPipe Group General Manager Maxim Ignatyev and Alnas Executive Director Sergei Sachenko. The meeting focused on aspects of the HR and social policies at Alnas plant, the joint efforts undertaken to address existing problems, and future prospects of the plant. Ms. Vodopyanova remarked on the positive trends discernible at the plant since her last visit.
"Today I have seen for myself that Alnas is working effectively and faces good prospects", she underscored, adding: "A professional management team is shaping up – the kind that the plant hasn't had for a long time. I have seen that management is seriously determined to communicate openly with the staff. I value it highly when management is willing to engage in discussion, answer questions, and take the opinion of employees into account. Our experience shows that a higher degree of management's openness in communicating with the staff directly translates into better performance of our plants. It is my hope that the initiatives discussed today, involving support for family dynasties, development of creative and athletic skills of employees, will be implemented in a proper manner. These are the underlying components that will definitely provide an impetus for continued vibrant growth. The most important thing is that the trade union organization and plant management are determined to achieve their production goals successfully and maintain social stability in the team".
"Toward the end of 2015 we intend to increase work productivity by 60% and reach a production target of 7,500 electric centrifugal pump units. These are very ambitious plans for our plant, and we are counting on the trade union's support in helping to accomplish these goals, motivate our employees, create comfortable working conditions, and strengthen the team spirit. We have agreed to address all problems as they arise through a roundtable discussion", Alnas Executive Director Sergei Sachenko thus comments on the outcome of the meeting.
