The White Well Project

In cooperation with ChelPipe, Rimera is implementing a unique project to the Russian fuel and energy complex, the White Well Project. This is a comprehensive approach to oilfield services, combining several areas related to oil production. It involves the selection, production and supply of submersible equipment, taking into account the conditions and design features of the wells, as well as its after-sales service for the entire period of operation.
Four enterprises of ChelPipe Group and Rimera Group take part in the project. Pervouralsk Pipe Plant produces extra strong tubing. Alnas develops and manufactures pumping units using composite polymers to increase the lifespan of the equipment. Izhneftemash takes care of corrosion and wear-resistant subsurface sucker rod pumps and special equipment production. Rimera-Service supplies pipes, adapters, valves as well as handles repairs and maintenance of the procured equipment.

The synergy effect achieved through successful cooperation between Rimera Group and ChelPipe Group allows the clients to save considerable resources on well servicing, thus increasing profitability and expanding their capabilities, especially on difficult well stock. The key White Well equipment benefits for the customer:

• decreased number of breakdowns, caused by one of the submersible equipment elements failure;
• increased turnaround interval & MTBF rate;
• reduced cost for tripping operations and equipment repairs;
• increased production due to reduced well downtime..

Today, the White Well packages have been pilot tested at major oil companies in Russia and CIS countries and have displayed a 3–8-fold MTBF rate increase.
