Rimera Group's Almetyevsk enterprise (part of ChelPipe Group's oilfield services division), one of the largest Russian submersible equipment manufacturers, increased production volumes for all types of products in the first quarter of 2020 as compared to the same period in 2019.
Production of electric submersible pumps increased by 23%, production of submersible electric motors — by 30% and production of working elements by — 26%. Given the significant growth in export shipments in January-March 2020, revenues from sales increased by 67%.
The growth was due to the implementation of a set of measures aimed at increasing labor productivity and modernizing capacities. The company optimized the process of mechanical processing of products, which allowed the significant reduction of the time of parts processing and increase of the production rate from 50 to 81 sections of ESPs per day. Also a new horizontal press and stands for horizontal impregnation of stators were put into operation to reduce energy consumption, increase speed, quality and environmental friendliness of the production process.
"Rimera Group is constantly expanding its production capacities and upgrading process equipment to meet the actual needs of customers. Thanks to systematic work to improve production performance, Alnas significantly increased the volume and pace of production, significantly reducing the time from receipt of orders to the receipt of finished products," commented the CEO of Rimera Group Stanislav Veliky.
Alnas will continue to implement measures to increase production performance: in 2020, the company plans to create integrated teams, which will increase productivity and quality of products.
