Rimera Group expanded its range of equipment for oil production

Almetyevsk enterprise of Rimera Group (part of ChelPipe Group) developed and put into production new models of submersible electric motors with increased voltage supply and electric submersible pump ESP5-60 with compression-dispersing stages of 5 sizes.

Alnas plant developed new equipment in accordance with the technical requirements of the leading Russian oil companies and will supply updated models of electric motors to customers by 2020.

Electric motors with increased supply voltage in dimensions of 103 and 117 mm are used as drives for electric submersible pumps for oil production from wells with formation fluid temperature up to 150 degrees. Compared to standard electric motors, the electric motors with increased supply voltage have a lower operating current value, which significantly reduces energy costs during well operation.

Electric submersible pump ESP5-60 with compression-dispersing stages (CDS) with a nominal capacity of 60 cubic meters per day is used in wells with a free gas content up to 35%. One of the advantages of the new development is the adaptability to oil production conditions in wells with a high gas content due to the additional package of CDS.

The pump has standard sections and an additional bottom section with a dispersing unit consisting of compression-dispersing stages at its inlet. They grind and compress the gas dissolved in the pumped liquid, create an overpressure and ensure continuous, trouble-free operation of the pump.

"Rimera Group developed new models of oil production equipment, which would reduce capital and operating costs of the customer. In 2020, Alnas will continue to develop its product line in accordance with the needs of oil companies, in particular, the development of small complete 2A units, 117 mm thyratron motors and pumps with high efficiency," commented The Head of the Research and Development Center of Rimera Group Anton Ilyin.

In 2019, Alnas plant developed 17 electric motors and hydraulic protections, as well as 11 electric submersible pumps and gas stabilizing devices.
