Rimera Group has developed new beam-pumping units with increased capacity

Rimera Group's Izhevsk plant (part of ChelPipe Group), one of Russia's leading oil machine building companies, has prepared drives for sucker-rod pumps (SRP) with a lifting capacity of 10 and 12 tonnes.

Technical solutions have been implemented in the design of new beam-pumping units, which would improve the efficiency of oil production in traditional fields. It is planned to produce a pilot batch in April 2020.

The new models of SRP drives have a higher safety margin and will be equipped with a specially developed three-stage gearbox (RT-58), as well as new crankshafts and counterbalances. Compared to the gearboxes used in this segment, the PT-58 has higher torque and increased loading capacity.

"Rimera Group offers a wide range of modern equipment designed by means of the latest oil production technologies. One of the actual requirements of the clients from the fuel and energy complex is the production of heavy and hard-to-recover oil by sucker-rod pumps of large sizes with reduction of swing frequency for energy efficiency improvement. In response to this request, Izhneftemash developed new models of beam-pumping units that will reduce the cost of well stock operation," said The Head of the Research and Development Center of Rimera Group Anton Ilyin.

In 2019, Izhneftemash developed about 150 models and modifications of oilfield equipment, including more than 100 new versions of sucker-rod pumps, hydraulic drives for oil production and universal control stations for electric submersible pumps.
